This week Lisa Dunbar will be presenting Making Interviews Count: How to Avoid Post-Hire Calamites at the Vermont Financial Aid Conference in Killington, Vermont. The conference entitled Strength Through Change will be held at The Killington Grand on June 15th and 16th, and is sponsored by the Vermont Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (VASFAA).
“Behavioral interviews are 55% predicative of future workplace performance. This workshop focuses on how to build effective interview questions and probes that are most predictive of future on-the-job behavior, determine how to rate responses and avoid the smokescreen of interview pros as well as recognize interviewee exaggerations and cover-ups. It is so crucial now for organizations, higher education included, to get the correct hire the first time and to save the organization future headaches and possible loss of moneys.”
